My favorite right now is one called death by chocolate. This is how you make it. You get a bowl, and you put in a layer of chocolate pudding. Then a layer of chocolate cake. (No frosting!) Then another layer of chocolate pudding. Then another layer of chocolate cake. (Again no frosting!) Then you put on a layer of whip topping. Then you sprinkle it with chocolate sprinkles. Mmmmmmm very good. But does anyone have any other good chocolate recipes?

I loove semi-sweet but my husband loves milk chocolate. i think milk chocolate is too sweet and semi-sweet are more distinguished. So who uses which? i want to know which is more popular!

I use semi-sweet as well.. my mom always used them, and I have most her recipes, so that’s what I use as well.

Regretfully most is purchased very cheaply from the Ivory Coast.
Child slaves are typically utilised as workers, working long hours and never even having the opportunity to taste chocolate.

Is chocolate a good gift idea for your crush?

Posted by admin on December 28th, 2009 and filed under chocolate gifts | 6 Comments »

My friends know that I have a HUGE crush on this guy who I’m sure likes me 100% back. They told me to give him a gift for Christmas; something like cookies or chocolate, but it’s kind of awkward(especially since I’m shy, so I was planning to put it in his locker). I just got a box of Godiva chocolates, so maybe I could give it to him? Thanks!

Give him the chocolates, but rap it in nice rapping paper, a ribbon and a bow! He’ll love it!

GOOD LUCK!

How do I advertise for a chocolate product?

Posted by admin on December 28th, 2009 and filed under wholesale chocolate | 2 Comments »

I am starting to do chocolate sales on the wholesale and retail end of things for a small company. The question I have is, what is the best way to advertise for a product that is very expensive but is superior in quality to any other comparable product?

I’ve got a lot of customers, but I am looking for someone that has some really great ideas on how to reach out to the right customer base.

Associate your product with luxury…ie look at commercials for wine, diamonds, polo clothing, it all depicts well-to-do people enjoying the product….you want people to feel like they are better than average people if they eat your chocolate.

May make you uncomfortable but this is a marketing truth.

Also I would sign up for an autoresponder email service, so you can communicate with your customer list in a personal yet efficient fashion. I recommend http://www.aweber.com or http://www.getresponse.com
