what is special about it. cause everybody i asked said it was realy good but no one would say why or they dont know
Belgian chocolate is also referred to as "Belgian couverture chocolate." Couverture chocolate contains a higher percentage of cocoa butter than regular chocolate, giving it a creamier and more subtle flavor. (It also breaks apart differently, but I have no idea why that’s important.)
Most Belgian chocolate is still made in the "Old World" ways and is held to very high standards in terms of recipe and quality, making it the finest chocolate in the world.
Promotion movie about Belgian Chocolate I made as school assignment. We had to do a writing effect in AfterFX, I’d never actually do that. :p

Some people say British chocolate is best. In fact some British women prefer their chocolate to their men, but thats another story. Personally I like Swiss and Belgian chocolate the best. Cote d’ or elephants are just great. So come on people, tell me why your country’s chocolate is best. But please dont tell me that Hershey bars qualify as chocolate!
Oh, and if anyone wants to send me some nice tasting chocolate, please feel free!
I’m Australian and I do not think Australia makes the best chocolate. So to the lady who said AUSTRALIA, all I can say is "broaden your horizons"…there is a whole world of GREAT chocolate out there!
I can’t say that I know much about chocolate all over the world, but some of the best chocolate I’ve ever had is Ghiradelli chocolate. The caramel squares… oooh I could swoon just thinking about them. Mmm. And you can get them almost anywhere. I know for sure that Target sells the little bags of them. It’s fantastic.
were does it originate from??
The chocolate used to make the cheesecake probably comes from Belgium, but I doubt your cheesecake was made there. There are a bunch of theories about where cheesecake originated. Google it.
After having been exposed to Belgian chocolate for many years, I must admit that it is the best I have tasted to date. Where do you think the best chocolate is manufactured?
Hershey’s. It’s so much better than Australian chocolate (Cadbury’s), because it has less milk and more cocoa.
i’ve always used the packets, but i recently bought some Belgian chocolate, and lots of people say it’s great chocolate and makes great hot chocolate. but i dont know how?
okay, heres what you do:
1) grate, shave the chocolate…this can be done with a cheese grater, using the fine side!
2) place the shavings into a cup. make sure theres lots, you want a rich cup of hot chocolate!
3) Now, add some boiling milk to this cup, pour the milk right onto the chocolate!
4) stir together quickly, and it should all be good.
5) drink it!=)
yummmm!

I recently bought a small chocolate fountain. I bought Belgian chocolate and heated it in microwave. I then mixed in a bit of canola oil to thin out the liquified chocolate. However, the chocolate still didn’t flow out as smoothly as I hoped. The chocolate dripped instead of looking tier-like. How do I make the chocolate flow more smoothly? Need all the help I can get as we’re using the fountain for a party this Saturday! Thanks!
you may need more oil. For really yummy flavor try using almond oil if you can find it. Also, instead of heating your chocolate in the microwave (which makes it burn and crack on the outside) you might want to use a double boiler. If you don’t have one, get one of those stainless steel mixing bowls and put the unmelted chocolate and oil in it. Place the bowl on top of pot of boiling water. This way the chocolate gets heated gently…just make sure you keep stiring so it doesn’t burn.
I learned this the hard way after ending up with "chunky" Chocolate fondue. Yikes!
