Me and my friend are doing our country reports for school, and we both want to bring in chocolate. She is doing Switzerland and I am doing Belgium. She says Swiss chocolate is more famous and Belgium isn’t even famous for their chocolate. which one do you think is better and witch one do you think is more famous?? Ten points best answer!!!
Belgian chocolates are very smooth. Most Belgian chocolates have a hazelnut flavor, though, so if you do not like that small hazelnut flavor you won’t like it. I didn’t care for it when I first had it, but years later, I love it now. There is a chocolate paste, Nutella, that you can get in the States that tasts like many Belgian chocolates.
Godiva is a Belgian chocolateer, but I do not care for it at all.
Most GOOD Belgian chocolate expires in a few weeks as it is made without special preservatives, but almost all Godiva chocolates have those preservatives and thus tend to be more waxy and hard.
MY FAVORITE is the Belgian Truffels! MMMmmm
If you have an ALDI store by you, check out a German chocolate cookie called WAFFERMUSSE. Oh gosh, it is sooooo good! It is like a Belgian chocolate cookie, has that slight hazelnut flavor.
In truth, though, EVERY COUNTRY has a good brand of this or that chocolate of this or that type. Look at the US’ Pepridge Farms cookies: THEY ARE AWESOME! But, the recipie was actually purchased from a Belgian royalty chocolateer.
Everyone steals from everyon.. or grows better recipies off one another.
So, EAT UP! Try each country’s chocolate! That’s the only way you’ll know what you like… but, I would try to stick to fresh chocolates, from a chocolateer, not from a grocer. Hmm, though we have some awesome candy bars in the US, LOL!
Dang, we’re gonna’ get fat…

Filled or a bar?
Buy a bar( it’s cheaper).
Cotes D’or
Callebaut( both Belgium)
Callebaut you’d find in Whole Foods( near the cheeses)
also in Wild Oats or in any Gourmet Market.
Be aware that Godiva" is NOT made in Belgium anymore.
Neuhaus still is( for filled choclates or bars).

We sell them, but I have no idea where you are?
Amazing documental caught on www.marcolini.com; his very raison d’ĂȘtre offer dream , he travels the world to meet producers who are passionate about their work, and work all the creations on base of the cocoa bean he select and roast at his workshop based in Brussels.
This is the most modern Belgian chocolate, he is known and famous until Japan.
The chocolate look like jewels of flavors, an amazing vision of the chocolate which is close to some people call perfection!

Which one would you remove from the standard array of the product?
I would remove plain, milk chocolate because those are very common.
what is special about it. cause everybody i asked said it was realy good but no one would say why or they dont know
Belgian chocolate is also referred to as "Belgian couverture chocolate." Couverture chocolate contains a higher percentage of cocoa butter than regular chocolate, giving it a creamier and more subtle flavor. (It also breaks apart differently, but I have no idea why that’s important.)
Most Belgian chocolate is still made in the "Old World" ways and is held to very high standards in terms of recipe and quality, making it the finest chocolate in the world.
Promotion movie about Belgian Chocolate I made as school assignment. We had to do a writing effect in AfterFX, I’d never actually do that. :p

Some people say British chocolate is best. In fact some British women prefer their chocolate to their men, but thats another story. Personally I like Swiss and Belgian chocolate the best. Cote d’ or elephants are just great. So come on people, tell me why your country’s chocolate is best. But please dont tell me that Hershey bars qualify as chocolate!
Oh, and if anyone wants to send me some nice tasting chocolate, please feel free!
I’m Australian and I do not think Australia makes the best chocolate. So to the lady who said AUSTRALIA, all I can say is "broaden your horizons"…there is a whole world of GREAT chocolate out there!
I can’t say that I know much about chocolate all over the world, but some of the best chocolate I’ve ever had is Ghiradelli chocolate. The caramel squares… oooh I could swoon just thinking about them. Mmm. And you can get them almost anywhere. I know for sure that Target sells the little bags of them. It’s fantastic.
