i am interested to set up a cafe selling quality coffee and gourmet chocolate…do you think working for cafe or chocolatier will be an alternative to learn the ropes of business in this line?

Definetly start in the coffee shop. learn the ropes so that when you do get your own shop, you don’t look like an idiot that can’t even run their own shop.
And with the chocolate thing, are you going to be making your own candies? Because then you might want to get into a pastry class at the local community college or something, because if you ask to do a stage at a chocolatier and have no experiance, they probally won’t let you even near the production area…especially if you are going to be a competitor one day.
