Not all girls are satisfied with flowers and chocolates on Valentine’s Day. What are some more creative ideas to make her feel special?

Best one I ever did, went to her work (boss already knew) around lunch with her overnight bag. Put her in the car, drove to a cabin on then sunshine hinterland. She had a 3 hour day spa pamper pack ( I joined in) and candle light dinner on the lake all by ourselves.
She still talks about it and that was 6 years ago.

Here’s my input:
make her dinner or dessert
give her a gift certificate to a spa, or pamper her yourself
take pictures together
book a reservation at a nice hotel
a weekend getaway
jewelry is always appreciated!
It’s really the thought that counts. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to make her feel special. Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

A picnic all set up and ready to go is a winner.
I once filled my girlfriend’s room with red pink and white balloons while she was out – it was a lot of work but it was very much appreciated.

You could give:
- A nice picture frame with a picture of the two of you
- A gift card to her favorite shopping store
- Jewelry (if she wears it)
- A poem/song you wrote
- A collage of pictures and quotes of how much she means to you
Just some ideas. Sometimes it’s more special to her if you made the gift…good luck!

This year for my guy (this should work for your girl as well) I made a card with a poem I had written on the inside. I bought a box of candy hearts that have naughty sayings on them. Last year when I did this he would leave them around for me to find…like on the seat of the car..I would read it and then we would do it later…that little box kept on giving, long after Valentines was over. Finally, this year I found a website where you can choose a book, fill out a questionaire, and they will insert the two of you into the story. The questionaire has you answer basic questions about the two of you like what color hair you have, your body build, and your favorite place to eat ,etc. They will even put a picture of the two of you on the cover. Can’t wait for us to read it together!

Make up a coupon book for things like back massages, foot massages, hair brushing, etc for her to use anytime she wants by presenting the coupon to you.
Set up a romantic evening where you make her a candle light dinner followed by a romantic bath together by candlelight with either scented bath salts or bubblebath and take her to the bedroom where the bed is covered with rose petals and the only light is the flickering of candles for romantic lovemaking.

Women with small kids often find it hard to get time for themselves. So, while it may not seem "traditionally" romantic, the most lovely gesture I’ve heard of was a husband who booked some time at the hairdresser for his wife, and encouraged her to after that go out clothes shopping, while he spent all day alone with the kids. Its so very hard to try on new clothes with a crying baby in tow, or giggling toddler running around!
Similarly, a gift certificate for a massage or facial is appreciated, again with the partner taking over kid-watching and house-cleaning chores for the day.
Some housewives are brought to happy tears just to have their husband wash the dishes and wipe down the kitchen counters, or doing a couple of loads of clothes in the washer. Why not volunteer to cheerfully do any and all housework and garden tasks requested, for a full day? I’ve heard a number of mums on parenting forums say something along the lines of "Nothing turns me on more than my man doing the dishes!" LOL!

well its true that not only roses and chocolates are the only gifts for valentine’s. if you know the girl very well, i say personally then you should at least know her choice by now, but girls are more interested in jewellery’s and with a dinner as a surprise. hope this will make you at least know a little.

In behalf of chocolate and roses there are so many gifts that you can give in times of valentines day. For me I would wait her in the bed until she wakes up and say to her happy valentines day "i love you’ with kiss and hug that would do. Your the one person who great her that special day and And she will always remember that because she will thought she is special

Well id say get her or do something that takes some time and effort.I feel like guys always play it safe wiht , flowers and chocolate and i personally would feel more flattered and impressed if my guy took the time to make something for me like make me dinner, if you are getting jewelry wrap it yourself or make a card.Girls like crafty things like doing hands on things and if a guy takes the time to make something original it will make her feel special cuz he actully took the time and sat there and put his love into creating whatever that somehting migth be.Jus think of things you know, make a picture frame, a collage of pictures of the tow of you throughout the years i dunno something special.Well i hope this helped.

do you know something in your busy days lifestyle,.. you always wanted to say that you love her but you can’t get the chance to do so…
just grab her in the midnight or early in the morning and tell her with all your emotions and feelings that you love her..(just like you are proposing her).
And than give her a big warming but lovely kiss… right on the center of her lips…
than ask her a wish what she want from you, complete the task what ever she says whether difficult or easy…. do it make her happy that could be the best gift for her …
All the materialistic gifts can bring a momental joy but this can bring joys for ages….

Well. Valentines day’s bout expressing your love to someone, its just all these marketting companies that have made it a commercial affair. I guess people simply dont understand the real meaning of anything related to love, we can use the word LOVE for nearly everything, i love this hair brush, and i love that brand and i love those shoes! Love is the highest human emotion, and we should respect it for its real value. Love is for the man or the woman without whom you cant breathe, thats Love and I Love you should be for that person, not for your favorite celebrity! i think we seriously need to grow up. Flowers and chocolate cant always show a woman how much you love her. Anything to do with being with the woman helps. A nice long kiss and spending some quality time with the woman who you love and taking her somwhere like a nice fine dinner, a house boat or maybe your own bedroom bed could do the trick! After all its all about loving…. all the best.-anisha

Hey Bruce, u really love your valentine very much. Forget the diamonds, dinners, gift certificates and all those mundane things which every valentine would consider gifting. What your gal would love the most (well, thats my feeling, huh) is for you to cancell all your engagements and give her all the attentions.
GIVE HER YOURSELF MAN!!! Thats the most precious gift ever that she’d got in her life.
She’l be pretty excited and delighted that she has the whole of you for the entire day. Thing about it man and you will understand where I come from.
CHEERS PAL. HAVE A GREATEST VALENTINES EVER.
