Easy Truffle recipe:
Make a Ganache to start.
Ganache
3/4 Cup heavy cream
8 ounces good chocolate, chopped.
1 Tb your favorite liqueur
Place chocolate in a bowl
Pour cream in a sauce pan. Heat to almost a boil
Pour hot cream over chocolate. Let sit for 2 minutes, add flavoring, stir until smooth.
Let sit at room temperature for 4 hours or refrigerate until firm.
Scoop out chocolate mixture in small balls, roll in your hand if you want round balls, roll balls in powdered sugar or cocoa powder. Or you can roll the balls in chopped nuts, crushed cookies…Or you can dip the balls in melted chocolate. References :
