Why is Belgian chocolate famous even though cacao bean originate from South America?

Although cacao originated in South America, chocolate as we know it was invented in Europe. Many European countries make great chocolate but Belgium and Switzerland are most famous. One of the main reasons that Belgian chocolate is famous is that a fellow called Jean Neuhaus invented praline in 1818. Praline basically means that a hard chocolate shell called couverture is filled with a softer filling which allows the chocolatier to introduce a range of flavours into their product. This could be rum or fruit or nuts or really anything that compliments the flavour of chocolate. Over the years the chocolatiers of Belgium have perfected the praline and continue to come up with exciting new fillings.

My dad has this phone. He has been with verizon for a long time so the phone was free. I am on a family plan and my phone is the samsung intensity. I want to upgrade to the LG chocolate touch like my dad but because my contract is only since january of this year and is still kinda new then verizon wont give me the free phone. Instead they want to charge me $250 for the phone! My dad asked if they could give me a discount on his side of the account but they said no.

I have been on ebay placing bids everywhere to get this phone cheap. The most I can pay is $50-60 but it seems that people have more money then me and keep out bidding me more then I can pay. Where is the cheapest place I can buy this exact phone and use it with my verizon plan? Is there a cheap wholesale place or something?

Here is a picture of the phone in case you have no idea what it looks like- http://mobilenewz.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/LG-Chocolate-Touch.png
thanks

PS- Dont bother with ebay or amazon because they are too expensive and I have already tried them. If you post either then your answer will be ignored and you won’t get the 10 points

Hi friend,
Its difficult but not impossible in $50-60.
Yes Ebay and Amazon are always expansive.
Hey why dont u Request your dad to use your phone and u use his phone..!?
Try to change/exchange the sim .
ofcourse your dad will YES.
HOPE I HELPED . AND SORRY I DIDNT HELP U ALOT.
BEST REGARDS.

I will take recipes that are homemade and ones that use hot chocolate mix.

If you want to use the hot chocolate mix, measure 2 tbsp(3 if you like it really chocolately) in a cup. Add 1 tbsp milk or water(doesn’t have to be hot). Stir the mixture until it becomes a paste. You can also add cinnamon and or vanilla at this time and stir that into the paste.

When it is pasty, add enough hot water (or hot milk)to fill the cup, but leave enough room for a bit of milk or cold water. Enjoy!

Other things you can add:

Vanilla extract
Cinnamon
Mint tea bag
Orange extract or orange tea bag
flavored coffee creamer
chocolate chips or dark chocolate
whipped cream

If you want a REALLY good treat, make your own hot chocolate mix with cocoa and sugar. I use 1.5 tbsp cocoa and 2 tbsp sugar. Mix into a paste, add hot water or milk and you’re done!

Eating chocolate once a week is fine, in fact it is actually good for the body and it releases the "feel good" hormones in your brain and allows you to feel more relaxed and happy.

Denying yourself little treats while on a diet can often make your sick of your diet and when you reach a good weight you can "break-out" and end up gaining more weight in the end.

We all know what we need to do – its common sense and you seem to have it down "little and in moderation" is simple, and is good for you. Don`t listen to anybody you tells you otherwise have a little of what you enjoy and you will be fine.

Good luck

I know you arnt supposed to let your dog eat chocolate, but mine ate 2 full size chocolate bars and was fine after, and it is only a little 12 lb shi-tzu.
Ok, I did not feed my dog chocolate, she opened a cupboard with her nose and found some, and this was a week ago when we were on vacation. I just decided to ask it now, but she is fine. Ive heard it causes blindness in dogs, but she is perfect.

I guess it depends on the dog. I used to have a dog who hate a huge hersheys chocolate bar and it didn’t do squat to him. My cousins dog ate some chocolate once too but he threw it up and ended up being fine too. BUT to be safe I would DEFINITELY contact a vet, because u never no what may happen and u don’t wanna chance anything

Yes, you can. The chocolates with wine won’t make any difference as the box is sealed.
If your baking a cake pink, blue, white and even red shows up good on top of dark chocolate, but if your trying to change the brown color to a different color it is gonna be difficult, you may have to lighten up the chocolate with some white first. Decorating you can use just about any light color you want.
