Milk Chocolate Making Made Easier

Posted by admin on November 13th, 2009 and filed under milk chocolate | 25 Comments »

Milk chololate is easily made at homes and would cost much lesser than it is to buy out .. heres how its made.. take one cup of powdered sugar, one cup of milk powder, one heaped table spoon of cocoa powder, about half table spoon of butter, and to this add the minimum quantity of water required to make a thick batter.. place this batter on a stove and bring to a boil on a low flame… when the batter becomes thick ( shown in the clip ) stop the boiling, cool, pour into suitable moulds, cut, cool in a fridge and it gets ready ..then
EAT !
Tip: you can add dry fruits to the batter after boiling, and also make out fancy shapes using icing tubes..

for the quantity shown in the video, it took me about 10 mts of cooking time, ( excl. the grinding and making the mix ) .. but really, the time would depend a lot on the quantity, and the ambient conditions, the moisture in the stuff etc.. and so i can’t offer any correct timings … cheers :-)

am just guessing,..maybe you need to blend the ingredients in a blender before setting it out to cook ? or have you tried cooking it for lesser time ? maybe just a little more of butter ? sugar usually causes lumps if too much / too little is added ….i’m sure you’ll get it right the next time around .. all the best ! cheers ! :-)

sorry, at that time i did not think it was necessary to show the chocolate being broken.. but i remember it did taste good, was like commercial chocolates .. and you need both hands to break that sized chocolates and i would have found it difficult to show since i need one hand to hold my camera … :-) !
